Tijuana's convenient location just across the Mexican border for traffic bound south from San Diego means that this hustling city sees a steady stream of day-trippers over to peruse markets and party.
In the spectacular Big Sur area, Andrew Molera State Park is still relatively undeveloped and offers visitors great hiking, fishing, and beachcombing. Miles of trails wind through meadows, beaches, and hilltops. A primitive walk-in trail camp, popular with hikers and bikers, is located approximately one-third mile from the parking area.
