Basic Directions
Driving to Copper Canyon, though recommended only for those familiar with driving in Mexico, is perfectly possible. From U.S. border towns in Texas or Arizona, the trip is a full day's drive over mostly paved roads -- the unpaved sections are gravel or graded dirt that two-wheel drive vehicles with good clearance will have no difficulties with in dry conditions.
