Basic Directions
Highway 180 connects Merida to Cancun and other destinations on the Yucatan Peninsula, a drive of about four hours over a good toll road or longer over a more scenic route. Merida is also accessible from central Mexico along Highway 180, which wraps around the Bay of Campeche as it travels over 1500 miles to Mexico City.
